Fly Confidently with Airline-Grade Safety, Training & Maintenance

Since before we added our first VIP CRJ-200 to the certificate, we have always led with a focus on safety as our number one goal. The key question we ask ourselves when faced with any decision is – would I make this choice if my family were on board? And, it drives our ability to meet and exceed industry standards from aircraft maintenance to in-flight operating procedures.

By choosing Slate for your charter needs, you’re not just selecting a service provider; you’re choosing a dedicated partner committed to your safety. Our ARGUS Platinum Certification is not just a badge; it’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing you with the highest level of safety and service in the aviation industry.

An Unwavering Adherence to Operational Integrity

Transport Category Airplanes Supported With Exacting Standards

A single fleet type supports scale and infrastructure typically only found at much larger commercial airlines

  • Vertically integrated training and maintenance operations
  • Aircraft certified to the same FAA standards, and subject to the same maintenance requirements, as those operated by the major U.S. airlines
  • Significant fleet size, consisting of over 30 owned and/or operated Bombardier aircraft and 100+ employees dedicated to our daily operations
  • Technicians and supervisors with 25+ years of experience maintaining our specific aircraft type
A Hands-On Approach to Ensuring the Highest Quality Crews

FAA Approved In-House Training Division

We are one of the few private jet operators with an FAA approved in-house training program (vs. outsourcing to third-party contractors). This means we train every new hire pilot internally using the same, full-time executive training staff, including both ground and simulator instruction, allowing us to manage the quality and uniformity of the training each pilot receives, as well as maintain a controllable path to hire and deploy new pilots as we add aircraft to our fleet. Our Director of Training formerly led training at one of the country’s largest regional airlines and has brought the same level of quality control and discipline to our organization.

Constant Oversight and Inspection of our Aircraft

In-House Maintenance Organization

With dedicated, not contract, maintenance bases in Westchester, NY and Palm Beach, FL, along with heavy maintenance facilities in South Carolina, and our recently opened 80,000 square foot heavy maintenance and cabin completion center in Macon, GA, Slate is able to control the quality of the team maintaining our fleet and ensure a disciplined approach to aircraft inspections and records management.
